Dmitry Shagin is a Russian painter and artist. He was born in St. Petersburg into a family of well-known painters. He graduated from Academy of Fine Art, USSR in 1975. He formed a group of underground artists called Mitki in 1984, which is active nowadays. His works have been displayed in private and solo collections in Russia, USA, France, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, and Brazil.
